|Recommended: YesI love it here, but a couple changes may help — I love living in the Muskegon Townhouses, however, if you asked my thoughts on our maintenance crew here, I have some mixed feelings. While they handle your requests in a timely manner, if your request entails more than a single task, it often seems that they forget to do that additional task. We had an issue in our bathroom that we had included on our submission on at least 2 occasions that was never even looked at each time we had submitted it. The first task asked was always done, but eventually we gave in and took care of the bathroom ourselves.
The community is very pleasant here, and we have had almost no issues in our 2 years living here. Groundskeeping is well maintained, and while we can sometimes hear our neighbor's dog bark, they calm him down pretty quickly.
The rent has increased a little more each year we've been here, and I'm not really sure why as we have not been told what this extra revenue is being used for, but overall this isn't a huge deal.
The central air, hardwood flooring, washer drier and all of the rest of the equipment stays in good working condition and has been so pleasant to have access to.
Overall I'd recommend living here.

|Recommended: YesWell kept, Great Staff, College Parties, Inconvenient Trash Pickup, Content — Here's my breakdown of my review and why some of these categories are not 5 stars.
Parking - 4 stars because it's not always possible to find a place to park and no assigned parking exists.
Noise - 3 stars because the basement has little noise negation and the neighbors sometimes have college parties which can be loud. Walls can be thin on the upstairs and can hear others TV's at times. Main floor tends to be quiet.
Grounds - 4 stars because while the grounds are well kept, you are responsible for shoveling your own sidewalk in the winter which was never explained or in the lease. They cover the main walkway but you have to shovel from your door to the start of the main walkway. Not great for the elderly.
Construction - 4 stars because of the layout. Multiple buildings and only 1 dumpster for the entire community which is not easily accessible. Absurd. It's an ordeal during winter. It's always overflowing on trash pickup days and you have to throw the trash on top of the pile which can be difficult for some. In addition, there is no bathroom on the main floor in the apartment which can be inconvenient for guests tenants who have difficulties with stairs.
Maintenance - 5 stars because they are prompt, polite, and efficient. Rarely needed but highly valued.
Sfaff - 5 stars because they are polite, knowledgeable, and attentive. Always have a positive attitude. Had one issue where unauthorized entry of staff occurred due to missed notes but apologies were prompt and sincere.
In Summary, while the issues above are inconvenient, the rest of my experience has been very positive. The apartment itself is lovely and is a great value for the space and the location. I'm not disturbed very often and the staff are fantastic. Things can be loud, but at least I don't have anyone above or below me like many other apartments. I've seen tenants with dogs which aren't allowed but luckily I haven't heard any barking or had to clean anything off the bottom of my shoes. I don't intend on leaving any time soon and I've recommended Muskegon Townhouses to many of my friends. Overall, I'm content.
|Recommended: YesNice neighborhood — You hear neighbors a lot and matence doesn't go above and beyond when fixing problems but they respond to my problems the same day. it's overall a safe neighborhood with very nice townhouses. There's good parking and always good walkways to get to your townhouse.

|Recommended: YesProperty is a nice place to live. — Muskegon Townhouses is a nice place to live because the community feels like a comfortable place to be. The lawncare is always on time, there are kids outside playing, and no noise outside late at night. Maintenance responds within a timely manner for the most part. Management does well at being efficient when it comes to communication. For the most part, this is a good place to live for any age.
|Recommended: YesVery nice — Very well kept up and nice fast service whenever we need anything done around the apartment would definitely recommend to a friend
|Recommended: YesVery nice — I really enjoy my apartment at Muskegon Townhouses. I can hear the neighbor's kids running up and down the stairs which is the only real complaint I have but overall it is quiet. Barely any outside noise, loud cars, etc. The neighborhood is quiet. Everybody is nice and polite. So far it's the best apartment complex I've lived in and the rates are very reasonable.
|Recommended: YesIts a nice place — I like the Layouts and the space that I have I do have a few issues though mainly the pet policy you allow cats but not dogs which makes no sense at all and the older homes specifically the floors , doors, and bathrooms could use a touch up lots of scraps on the floors and the bathrooms have dated plumbing for the shower and bath
but seriously Dogs and Cats should both be allowed
